Nature and the Danube Delta

Archaeology and Historic Buildings

For a combination of archaeology and a specifically named historic site, the Muzeul de Istorie și Arheologie is located in a building in Parcul Monumentul Independenței. This building stands on the grounds of the ancient fortress of Aegyssus.
