In Valea Adâncă stands the Biserica Sfântul Nicolae, whose construction began in 1715. The church was completed the following year, in 1716. On 6 December, the church's patronal feast is celebrated. In „Studii“, the Biserica Sfântul Nicolae was historically documented by Nicolae Iorga in 1776.
