Ţânţăreni: Discover Culture and Landscape

Those wishing to explore sacred architectural history through specific construction phases will find the present-day “Sfinții Voievozi” Church in Ţânţăreni. It was built between 1800 and 1810 on the foundations of an older church that had been erected during the time of Matei Basarab.

Culture

Traditions

In 2021, 65 children and young people took part weekly in the activities of the “Flori de Joc” folklore ensemble at the Ţânţăreni Cultural Centre.
