History

Historically, Rozogi was granted the right in 1685 to hold four annual fairs and a weekly market on Thursdays.

The first recorded mention of the settlement dates from the mid-16th century. Its founding as Friedrichowen (Rozóg) followed a privilege granted to Jacob Bieber in 1645.

A tavern privilege granted in 1679 included the right to brew beer, distil spirits, and sell beer and spirits.

Nature

A description from 1553 placed the Rossocken hunting lodge on a small elevation on the right bank of the Rozoga River. This recorded location is interesting for travellers who wish to combine local history with river landscapes.

For the next step, you can also view Racibórz, Kobylocha, Rańsk, Rudka, Warchaly, Bialy Grunt, Saplaty and Dzwierzuty.
