The wayside chapel in Krzyż was initiated in 1934 and financed by the local residents. May devotions, devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and a communal rosary in October were held there. The wayside chapel is currently maintained by the dedicated young people of the primary school in Krzyż.

Krzyż is home to a cemetery for Russian prisoners of war from the First World War and a war cemetery for soldiers of the Soviet Army from 1945. The wider regional area around Krzyż also contains the church “Tuchola, Parafia św. Bartłomieja Apostoła”.

The Czerska Struga rises near the village of Krzyż west of Czersk and flows from there for approximately 32 km until it reaches the Brda. A navigable section of the Czerska Struga extends for approximately 16 km and enables recreational trips on the water.
Activities
Tourist infrastructure was contractually planned for the Krzyż area as part of the “Borowiackie szlaki” project. In connection with “Kaszubska Marszruta”, land for a cycle path, rest areas, and information boards was contractually planned for Krzyż, Malachin, and Klonia.
