Landscape

The Głosków manor park with its access avenues is a 19th-century landscape park. The Głosków manor house is surrounded by the remains of a landscape park.

To the west of Głosków are fishponds fed by the Głoskówka, a tributary of the Jeziorka. The Aleja Karolińska runs through the surroundings of Głosków; multi-stemmed trees grow there, including 32 silver maples and hornbeams.

Culture and History

The Church of Our Lady, Help of Christians, in Głosków-Zielone was built between 1976 and 1982. The parish in Głosków, founded by Primate Stefan Wyszyński, began operating in 1981 and was entrusted to the Salesians.

In the early modern period, Głosków was a noble village, bore the name Głoskowo and lay on a local trade route connecting Piaseczno with Tarczyn. From the end of the 18th century, the Głosków estate belonged to Tomasz Michał Dangel and subsequently, until 1879, to his descendants.

The Głosków-Letnisko settlement area developed after the Grójecka narrow-gauge railway began operating.
