Cycling routes with different itineraries
The intermunicipal yellow cycling route starts at the Rynek in Skwierzyna and runs via Rakowo to Kolonia Brzozowiec. Its stated length is 14.3 kilometres. This clearly identifies both the starting point and the order of the places mentioned.
The interregional green Lubiatów–Krasne Dłusko cycling route passes through Wiejce, Krobielewko, Skrzynica, Nowy Dwór and Świniary within the municipality of Skwierzyna. The route also includes the Skwierzyna Gaj viewpoint and the Rynek in Skwierzyna. The Rynek is therefore a common point of reference: the yellow route starts there, while the green one passes through.

Fish and their habitats at Park Ryb
Park Ryb Pojezierza Dobiegniewskiego in Skwierzyna is open to the public. Check whether any current restrictions apply before visiting. Park Ryb opened in 2019 and aims to teach visitors about fish, their natural habitats and their diet, particularly with regard to species found locally.
The park features oversized fish models, including carp, catfish and eel. Each model has a board with a detailed description of the species. An educational trail complements the models with information about fishing, the region and rivers. The walk therefore combines viewing the fish models with specific topics to read about—from individual species to the region’s habitats and rivers.
Jewish cemetery and Late Gothic church
Skwierzyna’s Jewish cemetery is on a hill historically known as Judenberg, meaning “Jewish Mountain.” As part of the “Przywrócić pamięć” (“Restore the Memory”) project, the cemetery was cleaned up and restored in 2001–2002. Information boards in Polish and English were installed there at the time.
St. Nicholas the Bishop parish church offers another way to explore the city’s history. It is a Late Gothic church dating from the 15th century. The cemetery and church thus represent two different historical themes: the history and restoration of the Jewish cemetery, and Late Gothic church architecture. The exhibits at Izba Pamięci Drogownictwa, at Gorzowska 17a, have stated visiting hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Other visiting times can be arranged in advance with the person in charge.
