The Ogród Zoologiczny w Lubinie combines nature-themed exhibits with specific stops: the educational and tourist trail “Fauna Polski” includes a European bison enclosure. The Szlak Ptaków leads to aviaries housing more than 60 bird species from Poland and around the world. City History and Discoveries
In Lubin, the open-air exhibition “Pionierzy lubińscy 1945” is located at the railway station. Among other things, it includes the restored Ty2-22 locomotive. The town hall was built in 1768–1769 and now houses the Muzeum Historyczne w Lubinie. Its outdoor area is in Park Leśny and includes permanent exhibitions on the First World War and the Soviet occupation of Poland. Thus, alongside the recreation area with a ropes course mentioned above, the museum complex also offers historical themes.
Buildings dating from the 14th century also form part of Lubin’s historic character: the city walls are listed in the register of monuments, as is the defensive tower on ul. Tysiąclecia. Groups can also explore the Majsternia in the Strefa SOWA. In this workshop area, groups work with an instructor to develop solutions to given problems.
