Miedzychod: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The tourist trail Szlakiem sławnych międzychodzian, the “Trail of the Famous Residents of Międzychód”, runs through Międzychód. It can be explored on foot through the town. You can rent a holiday apartment in Międzychód.

Geographical Location

Międzychód lies on an isthmus between a lake and the Warta River; from the town’s remarkable market square, the river and lake can be seen at the same time.

Within a radius of several kilometres there are 35 lakes and numerous forest complexes. The area is known as Kraina Stu Jezior, the Land of a Hundred Lakes.

Orientation

The Międzychód Laufpompa is an artesian spring enclosed by a decorative cast-iron pump. It rises from a depth of approximately 90 metres.

Near Międzychód lies Sieraków – Zamek Opalińskich. The wider regional surroundings of Międzychód also include Lwówek – Pałac, Pniewy – Pałac póznobarokowy and Pożarowo – Pałac eklektyczny XIX w.

The townscape includes historic-style tenement houses and narrow alleys known as Gaskas, which lead to the lake or the Warta River.
