Another option is the Circuit Auto-Pédestre Belvaux. This circular route is 8.66 kilometres long, takes around 3 hours and 10 minutes and is also classified as moderately difficult. It alternates between village scenery and historically significant sites in the forests, including the castle on the Zolwerknapp. The starting point is about a seven-minute walk from Belvaux station; the “Belvaux, Gemeng” bus stop is just a few metres from the starting point.

A section of the Minett Trail passes through the Kiemerchen-Scheiergronn-Groussebësch nature reserve, which borders the Gaalgebierg in Belvaux. The Espace muséologique comprises nine exhibition rooms and documents the industrial past of the region. Among its special exhibits is a functioning blast furnace model at a scale of 1:50. Free guided tours of the Espace muséologique are offered in Luxembourgish, German or French on Thursday afternoons or by appointment.

The history of ore processing can also be encountered outside the museum. De Wee vum Steen runs through a Natura 2000 zone along a historic transport route: from the extraction site near the quarries via a conveyor belt to the junction with Rue de France, where Minette ore was loaded directly onto railway wagons at Quai Wënschel.

The Sainte-Barbe tradition is also part of the local culture of remembrance. It includes a gathering at the miner’s monument followed by a procession to the A Gadder site of culture and history. The Sainte-Barbe Chapel was completely dismantled on Rue des Alliés and rebuilt on Rue de l’Usine.
