A 6 km hiking route connects Danta with Santo Stefano along the ancient Strada del Centenaro. Paleontology in Danta

The Museo Paleontologico “Le Radici della Vita” displays paleontological finds from various continents. In the center of Danta, the Chiesa Parrocchiale dei Santi Rocco e Sebastiano stands on a small hill. It has a distinctive, unique bell tower. The present-day church was built in 1786 and extended in 1938. Inside is an altarpiece of the Madonna and Child with Saints Roch and Sebastian by Francesco Vecellio.

The Chiesa di Santa Barbara stands on the highest hill in Danta and offers views across the entire Val Comelico. It was built to protect the community from natural disasters. Together with the parish church, it shows two different sides of the village: here, the central church with its architectural history and altarpiece; there, the higher church with its sweeping view across the valley.
