The parish church of San Michele Arcangelo preserves a Gothic chapel from the earlier church building. During the celebration of Sant’Antonio Abate, held every year on 17 January, a large blessed fire is lit in the square in front of the church. For good luck, the faithful walk around the fire three times. Another date is aimed at those interested in sport: on Saturday, 11 July 2026, Palu de Sos Vihinados will take place as a night run from 9:00 p.m. in Piazza Marconi in the centre of Ollolai.

The Sasisòrgiu route passes through a landscape of large granite boulders, dense woodland, rock cavities formed by the overlapping of the boulders and dry-stone walls covered in moss. This sequence of specific landscape features complements the historical sites with a focus on nature. The name of the local bread is also part of Ollolai’s local character: the bread is called pane ‘ine.
