Near the Corr’e Cerbu bridge, an unpaved road branches off at kilometer 82 and follows the stream inland; after approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the mining village.

Monte del Castello di Quirra bears the ruins of the medieval castle of the same name and lies in a scenic setting between the Altopiano di Cardiga and the sea. The coastal tower, begun in 1592, has been restored, opened to the public by the municipality and offers panoramic views of the entire coast.
