The Belbo floodplain is the only non-hilly area within the territory of Santo Stefano Belbo. This makes it possible to combine different landscape impressions: riverside paths contrast with long ridge routes offering views across the hills.

Market, wine and a distinctive annual rhythm

The weekly market in Santo Stefano Belbo has been held in Piazza Umberto I for more than three centuries. Local wine production includes, in particular, Moscato d’Asti and Asti Spumante DOCG. Another notable date is 4 August: on this day each year, the signal to light the bonfires that illuminate the surrounding hills is sent from the Sanctuary of Madonna della Neve.
