The picnic area at Lago di Cava can be considered as a planned stopping point between the lakeside section and the return route. Culture and remembrance in the town

The Monumento ai Caduti e dispersi di Casalgrasso consists of a large triangular stone bearing an engraved marble plaque; next to it is another, smaller triangular stone. The engraved marble plaque differs in material from the two triangular stones. The larger and smaller stones share the same basic geometric shape. The monument permanently commemorates the fallen and missing persons of Casalgrasso. The Chiesa della Confraternita is associated with the Compagnia dei Battuti and was built at the beginning of the 18th century. The Chiesa di Santa Croce is located a few hundred metres from the turnoff leading back to Casalgrasso. The location of the Chiesa di Santa Croce spatially connects the church building with the route back to Casalgrasso.

Tradition and a local detail

Mint cultivation has a certain significance in Casalgrasso. A religious celebration traditionally takes place on the third Sunday in October at the Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie.
