San Giacomo Maggiore is a church completed in 1870 with a hexagonal floor plan. Inside is the sculpture La Resurrezione, donated by the contemporary artist Leandro Memè for the 2000 jubilee celebrations. The present form of the Castello di Monterado also bears a distinctive architectural signature: it was designed by the architect Luigi Vanvitelli.

The nearest railway station for Trecastelli is in Senigallia. From the A14, access is via the Senigallia exit and the S.P. Corinaldese for 12 kilometres in the direction of Ripe/Monterado to Trecastelli.
