Villas with a distinctive history and architecture

Villa Torri was built in the first half of the 18th century as a stately residence for wealthy families. It is already visible on the maps drawn up in 1721 by Charles VI. Its three main building sections are arranged in a C shape. At Villa Cazzaniga, the east wing contains a chapel with neoclassical decorations. The square courtyard garden facing the Naviglio is now landscaped as a lawn with plants and trees; a centuries-old magnolia stands at its center. San Remigio: Building history and religious art

The present-day Church of San Remigio in Vimodrone was built in 1781, expanded in 1936 and reconsecrated by Cardinal Schuster in 1941. Inside are two large frescoes: one depicts the Deposition of Jesus from the Cross, while the other shows Saint Helena discovering the True Cross. There is also an old oil painting of the Crucifixion of Jesus. The two frescoes and the oil painting represent different forms of imagery within the church interior.
