Looking upstream, it lies on the right-hand slope of the valley, around ten metres above the valley floor. The cave itself is on a wooded slope, a few metres above the present stream level, and has three natural entrances. An announced tour as a guide
A one-off tour in the Telekes Valley was announced for February 2026. The programme included Ördög-gát and the Ördög-gát-lyuk cave, known for Bronze Age finds. The planned route was seven kilometres and three hours long, with a start at the car park in front of the Éger-völgye Youth Camp. Registration was required by 27 February at the latest, a minimum of five full-price tickets had to be booked, and the group was limited to a maximum of 30 participants. The tour provides a concrete sense of what a longer hike in the valley could involve, but it is not a current event date.
