Routes

The nearby Dinó Park can be reached from Road 58 by turning right onto Időjós út at the signpost for Kökény. The footpath from a bus stop in Kökény to the remains of the Bagolyvár-kilátó is 900 metres long and has an elevation difference of 32 metres.

The bridge on the Kökény side of the lake is used by both pedestrians and cyclists.

Nature

Kökényi-tó is the smaller lake in the Malomvölgyi lake system near Kökény. Bagolyvár-kilátó is a wooden observation tower on a hill above Malomvölgyi-tó between Keszü and Kökény.

The complete circular route around the two lakes has been renovated and received a gravel surface over six kilometres. There are fire pits and rest areas on the southern shore of the lake on the Kökény side; fire pits have also been renovated and new ones added at several locations. The modernisation of a playground next to the lake on the Kökény side has begun.

Culture

The listed Catholic Szent-Kereszt Chapel in Kökény was built in 1767.
