Culture
The Malom Múzeum in Cserkút is Hungary’s smallest mill. The mill stands at its original location; its milling mechanism was renovated in 2019. The museum displays equipment from the mill and forge of the Kulin family, as well as objects donated by local villagers.
The Keresztelő Szent János Church in Cserkút has origins described as dating back to the late 12th century; its western tower was added in the 14th century. This makes it a cultural point of interest in the village for travelers interested in specific cultural monuments.
The church was restored in 1725, archaeologically excavated in 1967–68, and subsequently restored in 1970–72.
