Kleinobringen: Waterways and the Ettersberg Circuit

The Bachlange and Rassel streams flow through Kleinobringen. It connects Ettersburg Palace, Wohlsborn, Großobringen, Heichelheim, and Kleinobringen, passing through Kleinobringen along its circular route. The route thus links the village to a longer circuit.

Between Heichelheim and Kleinobringen, a field path on the circular route provides a shortcut of about 1.5 kilometres uphill in the direction of Ettersburger Straße. This information refers to the field path within the route; it does not describe the length of the entire circuit. Comparing it with the circuit’s 23.5 kilometres helps put the different distance figures into perspective. Check the current route and local conditions before setting out.
