Since its opening, it has represented theater culture with comedies, operettas, operas and other performances. The Wandelhalle in Bad Liebenstein was built in the neoclassical style in 1913.

The zoo offers another, family-oriented attraction in the wider Bad Liebenstein area: it covers 5 hectares and is home to around 60 animal species and approximately 300 animals.
