Together with the former farmyard and the estate park, the manor house forms part of a larger complex—the knight’s estate extends beyond a single building.
Elements dating from the manor house’s construction period, as well as the fixed interior fittings created around 1900, have largely been preserved. These include stucco ceilings, doors, floors and coloured leaded-glass windows. “Fixed” refers to fittings that are permanently attached to the building. These details bring together two points in time: elements from the building’s original construction and the fittings created around 1900. Alongside its exterior design, the preserved interior details therefore also tell the story of the manor house.
The Estate Park and Trail
The estate park is designed as a small landscaped park with two ponds and a mausoleum. It complements the buildings of the knight’s estate with a park of its own.
