Nature
The “Corbek, Brunsteichbach and Brunsbach” landscape conservation area also includes land in Brunsbek. East of Papendorf, woodland and grassland are part of the protected area. Its stated purpose includes nature-based recreation through experiencing and enjoying nature and the landscape.
Culture
The Brunsbek districts of Papendorf, Langelohe and Kronshorst belong to the Siek parish. St. Nicholas Church in Siek contains a bronze baptismal font dating from the mid-14th century. Traces of around 800 years of architectural history can be found at the church and are open for visitors to view.

Fischer's milk vending station in Langelohe offers fresh milk around the clock, seven days a week. The Kronshorster Lindenhof in Kronshorst runs a farm shop selling meat, sausages, fresh eggs, yoghurt, cheese and seasonal vegetables. The Kronshorster Lindenhof also offers smoked fish once a month and baked goods on Saturdays.
