St. Jürgen's Church preserves a baptismal font from 1482, a Marian altar from 1520 and a Gudewerdt pulpit from 1598. Geotanium is located about 100 metres from Gettorf railway station and can be reached by car from the B76 via the Gettorf exit.

Gettorf Zoo offers close contact with animals through free-flight aviaries and walk-through enclosures. Tropical halls and walk-through animal houses are suitable for visits in bad weather.
