The listed Senta windmill is located at Mühlenweg 1 in Todenbüttel. The town is locally described as a green church village where forests, meadows and the Au river invite visitors to relax.

Culture

The Trinity Church was inaugurated on 5 October 1863 in the Neo-Gothic style. The Todenbüttel church is a single-nave Neo-Gothic brick building with a 40-metre-high west tower. Its altar is decorated with four oak relief panels dating from 1597. The church and its organ are listed as protected monuments.

Nature

The Todenbütteler Au flows through Todenbüttel. The watercourse continues as the Haaler Au and reaches the Kiel Canal approximately 6 km north of Todenbüttel.

The Haaler Au area is designated as a Natura 2000 and FFH site and includes a European bird sanctuary.

The NOK Route runs for approximately 312 kilometres through the inland area of Schleswig-Holstein between Brunsbüttel and Kiel.
