St. Martin in Osterhever is a historic church founded in 1113. Romanesque traces, a carved altar featuring the detail “Christ at Rest” from 1520, a historic altar block and communion benches from 1753 are part of its furnishings, as is a late Gothic rood screen crucifixion group. A gravestone from 1583 depicts historic Eiderstedt clothing.
