Parking for the route is available at Buchholz School; capacity may be limited during school hours. GPX files are available for the route and for the reverse direction. Bus services 2508 and 2508 RUDI connect Burg and Brunsbüttel via Buchholz and Kuden.

Cycling

Dithmarschen has a cycling network of more than 1,200 kilometers with themed and long-distance routes. Downloadable GPX data and tools for planning route starting points are also available. The Dithmarschen tourism routes can be used offline after their GPX files have been saved to a smartphone or tablet.
