Klingenthal has steep and gentle slopes served by lifts. In the snow-reliable region around Klingenthal, more than 100 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails are available.

At the Sparkasse Vogtland Arena, visitors can take the WieLi to the ski jumping tower and view the surrounding panorama from the observation platform and from the capsule at the take-off tower. The arena is also a venue for concerts ranging from classical music to rock, as well as folk festivals and popular sporting events.

Leisure

Klingenthal Zoo showcases more than 40 animal species, including alpacas, dwarf goats and meerkats. The zoo has two playgrounds and a petting enclosure with guinea pigs and dwarf rabbits.

Cycling

The Klingenthal–Markneukirchen gravel tour connects the two cities of music through deep forests, gentle hills and streams. It mainly follows existing cycle paths and public roads and has no dedicated signage.
