At Kantorwiese, information boards present the history of the town, including archaeological finds from a Carolingian fortification, settlement remains, and a horse skeleton in the town center.
The village church in Biederitz has Romanesque origins. Organ concerts are held there, and it is one of the venues for the annual Biederitz Summer of Music, which has developed into a concert series of national significance. The Protestant Church in Biederitz contains a Ladegast organ, which is used in this concert series.
