The Weißenfels Local Nature Garden is a 12,600-square-metre nature and animal attraction with around 200 animals, landscaped enclosures, a bog garden, a rock garden and the nature trail “Path of the Senses”.
The Weißenfels all-weather toboggan run offers rides at speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour, as well as mini golf and other activities. The central boat rental service in Weißenfels provides rowing boats, pedal boats, motorboats that do not require a licence, canoes, inflatable boats and kayaks.
The bicycle and boat rental service is located directly on the Saale Cycle Route and offers bicycles, including e-bikes.
