Culture

The manor house in Storkau is said to have developed from a medieval estate farm. Old maps show the property as a moated castle, which was redesigned several times over the course of time.

St. Vincent and Gangolf Church in Storkau was built as a Romanesque church with a nave, choir, and west tower. Its 1866 Ladegast organ is a notable feature of music history.

In Pettstädt, part of the former municipality of Storkau, St. Anne's Church dates from around 1150. The church is opened especially during the summer for pilgrims on the Ecumenical Pilgrimage Route from Görlitz to Vacha.
