History
The Sonntagsmühle is documented in records of the Electoral Trier Amt of Boppard dating from 1575. In 1768, Nikolaus Sonntag took over the mill; it was subsequently given the name Sonntagsmühle. After Jakob Ströder moved there in 1826, the mill was also given the name Strödersmühle.
The Sonntagsmühle, also known as Strödersmühle, is a large estate in the Bickenbach area with renovated half-timbered buildings. The estate includes well-maintained meadows and a fishpond.
