Culture and History
The restored St. Hubertus Chapel is located in the center of Acht. St. Hubertus is the local patron saint and the principal saint of the small village chapel. The present-day chapel was built in 1826 and stands in a central location at the corner of Hauptstraße and Am Kirchweg.
Figures have been preserved, including St. Hubertus as a bishop, as well as two bells from the former chapel. A wayside cross dating from 1631 is listed among Acht’s cultural heritage.
Hiking
The Wanderather Trail includes the Welschenbach–Acht section. HausAcht is available for hiking groups; it can accommodate up to 35 guests and has ten parking spaces for cars, including space for a coach.
