The Roman cremation burial grounds northeast of Badem are also associated with evidence of settlement during Celtic and Roman times; the nearby burial mounds are dated to the 3rd century AD or provisionally attributed to the Hunsrück-Eifel culture.

Near Badem are Nußberg, Mühlen-Berg, and Dientz-Berg, each a hill. In the wider regional surroundings is Eishöhlen Birresborn, a cave. The landscape features mentioned thus extend from the immediate area to the wider regional surroundings.
