Culture

The present-day chapel of Kövenig was built in the early 1950s. It contains a Baroque altarpiece dedicated to Saint Michael, which comes from the secularized Stuben Monastery. Kövenig also has a documented winemaking tradition; professional winegrowers continue to work in the village.
