Cycling

In the immediate surroundings of Orfgen, in the Flammersfeld area, there are designated cycling routes such as the Wied Cycle Path and the Puderbacher Land Cycle Path. The 22.5-kilometre Raiffeisen Loop runs from Flammersfeld towards Asbach, along the Wied and through Lahrer Herrlichkeit.

The Raiffeisen Loop combines cycling through the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park with an old mill, Ehrenstein Abbey, Lahr Castle and a section of a former railway line featuring the narrow Peterslahr Tunnel.
