Culture

The Schermbeck Local History Museum is housed in a former smallholder’s house. The timberwork dates the building to the period after 1566, making it the oldest surviving residential building in the town center. A two-hour guided tour in Schermbeck follows the path of clay from the material in the ground to the finished brick.
