Bedburg Moated Castle dates back to the 12th century and is one of the oldest brick buildings in the Rhineland. Alt-Kaster offers a different historic townscape: town gates, the castle and outer bailey, a market square with old gabled houses, as well as the town wall and defensive towers define the town.
