Mill and Circular Routes in Waldfeucht

The Waldfeucht Mill stands on Kapellenstraße. Built in 1897, it is a tower windmill of the ground-sailer type. The Meinweg region is a woodland, heathland and moor landscape connecting the districts of Heinsberg and Viersen in North Rhine-Westphalia with the Dutch province of Limburg. In the Meinweg region, the National Park Region offers circular hiking trails of varying difficulty and lengths from 5 to 13 km. The routes include mill walks, the Smugglers’ Route and town walks. The district of Heinsberg is also home to certified premium hiking and walking trails in Schwalm-Nette Nature Park.
