Nature and Activities
Parts of the Berkel floodplain are designated as an FFH nature reserve. Gescher’s town park offers a climbing treehouse, slides, a water park and a skate park. The Gescher History Trail runs through the town park.

Visitors can rent an e-scooter or an e-tandem from Stadtmarketing Gescher. Gescher also offers six cycling excursions along the Berkel and the Slinge.
