Here, a half-timbered structure, a later building alteration and a reinstated furnishing come together.

The two churches offer different perspectives on local architectural history: in Herzfeld, the pulpit altar reaching up to the ceiling shapes the impression, while in Wulfsahl, the half-timbered building and the Late Gothic Marian altar stand side by side.
