Three official circular trails begin at the central Schulweg parking lot. ST3 to Koppen is 4.9 km long and classified as easy to moderate, ST4 around the Bülsenberg is 4.5 km long and easy, and ST5 around Hagen is 4.1 km long and also easy. The 15-km-long Diemelsee Panorama Green Trail offers views of the lake and the surrounding mountains above Stormbruch.

Culture

The present-day church is part of a complex local history. The former Stormbruch church was documented in 1526 as a branch church of the parish of Heringhausen, destroyed in the village fire of 1784, rebuilt as a timber-framed church in 1792, and replaced by a new building in 1959. The village bell tower contains one bell from 1795 and two bells from 1968.
