Culture
The present-day church is part of a complex local history. The former Stormbruch church was documented in 1526 as a branch church of the parish of Heringhausen, destroyed in the village fire of 1784, rebuilt as a timber-framed church in 1792, and replaced by a new building in 1959. The village bell tower contains one bell from 1795 and two bells from 1968.
