In Mittenwalde, the Salzmarkt 5 Museum tells the city’s more than 700-year history in a restored half-timbered house. The tower of St. Moritz Church has viewing platforms at a height of about 50 metres, reached by climbing around 200 steps. The fieldstone church in Bestensee offers another historical perspective: a testament to medieval village churches, it was probably built towards the end of the 14th century. Visitors can explore Schloss Königs Wusterhausen only on a guided tour, which offers insight into the life and royal living quarters of Frederick William I, as well as his era.
