The landscape of the Steigerwald combines sunny vineyards and ancient forests; at the same time, the region is known as the “land of 1,000 ponds”.
The Steigerwald Nature Park covers around 1,280 km²; approximately 40 percent of the area is forest.

Kirchschönbach Castle is suitable for a stay with an interest in a castle in the surrounding area.

Getting There
