The Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Brunn is a branch church of the Frauenberg parish and has a Rococo high altar. The church was first mentioned in a document in 1280, when it was sold to the monastery in Pielenhofen. Its parish affiliation and the sale are two specific points of reference in its history; the high altar adds a feature of the church’s interior. It starts in Frauenberg, follows forest paths, passes through Brunn and Eglsee, and returns to Frauenberg. On this route, the trail passes through a small settlement at the entrance to the village on its way to the TSV Brunn sports grounds.
The difference between the routes is useful when choosing a hike: W58 continues as a marked trail to a destination in Frauenberg, while “Around Brunn” is a 13.5-kilometer loop that starts and ends in Frauenberg. Check current route conditions before setting out.
Things to Do in the Wider Regensburg Travel Destination
