Guided tours can be booked through the Zwiesel Forest Museum from Monday to Friday exclusively by telephone and at least three days in advance. The first glassworks in the area was documented in 1421.

Rabenstein's winter activities include a groomed cross-country ski trail network, including the Kaisersteig trail.
