The Seegericht column at the landing stage bears the year 1522. The Anna side chapel is the oldest part of today’s St. Michael’s Church in Seeshaupt and dates from the early Middle Ages. The Seeshaupt memorial commemorates events at the end of the war and was erected on 30 April 1995. Its date anchors this remembrance in the town’s more recent history.
