The Tetzelschloss estate includes several historic outbuildings, including two sandstone barns and the former washhouse. This means the focus extends beyond the castle itself to its historic outbuildings. The trail and the castle offer different perspectives: one is about former houses and everyday life in the village, the other about the group of buildings with its barns and former washhouse.

Nature and Hutanger Meadows

The Kirchensittenbach nature experience garden gives people of all ages the chance to experience the wildlife and plant life of the Sittenbach Valley. The Hutanger meadows also shape the municipality’s landscape: there are 19 Hutanger complexes comprising 34 individual meadows. Some are still grazed by cattle, sheep or goats today.
