Dasing offers a variety of reasons to visit: the local history museum focuses on village life, Hofi’s Adventure Park brings together more than 30 attractions, and the outdoor pool combines several pools with a sunbathing lawn and playground. There is also a large market hall with regional food, as well as train and bus connections. Depending on your interests, you can include culture, rides, swimming and regional cuisine in your trip.

Village life at the local history museum

The local history museum, which opened in 2015, is located on Bahnhofstraße in the former Raiffeisen warehouse. Its exhibits explore different aspects of village life: you can see agricultural machinery and equipment, traditional rural costumes such as the “Dasinger Gwand”, as well as an old kitchen, an old bedroom and an old schoolroom with the historical items associated with them. Clothing, work tools and furnished rooms offer a range of themes to explore during your museum visit.

Rides or outdoor pool

Hofi’s Adventure Park is designed as a family attraction and features more than 30 rides and activities. The named rides include the family roller coaster “Beerenrausch”, the “Herzerlflug” chair swing and the Swing Tower. Their specific names and the large number of attractions give you an idea of what the park is all about: rides and experiences that you and your family can make the focus of a day out.

The Dasing outdoor pool offers a different kind of leisure activity. It has three heated pools: a toddler pool, a non-swimmer pool and a 25-metre pool. There is also a sunbathing lawn and a playground. For families, the different pools provide a helpful guide when choosing between the various swimming areas; the sunbathing lawn and playground are also part of the outdoor pool’s facilities. A kiosk and restaurant round out the amenities on site.

The outdoor pool is located just outside the town, northeast of the district of Lindl. Its location sets it apart from the attractions in town and is useful to bear in mind when finding your way around Dasing. The museum, adventure park and outdoor pool cater to different interests: village history, rides or time by the water. Which of these is the main reason for your trip may also influence your choice of where to stay in Dasing.

Regional food and getting here

The Dasing farmers’ market offers regional food in a 1,200 m² market hall. You can buy the food there or enjoy it right away at the restaurant. This provides a tangible connection to regional cuisine alongside the attractions: the market combines shopping with the option to eat on site. It can be especially appealing if you want to discover regional products rather than plan a day devoted exclusively to leisure attractions.

You can also plan your journey around a range of transport connections. Dasing is on the Paartalbahn line between Augsburg and Ingolstadt; regional trains run from the station every half hour. In addition, MVV express bus route X732 connects Dasing directly to Munich. Together, the railway and express bus serve different destinations. If you are looking for a holiday apartment in Dasing, these connections may be a factor in choosing the town, alongside the experiences you are interested in.
